This page explains what cookies and similar technologies MyGuri uses, why, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your personal data more broadly.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work (like staying logged in); others are optional and help us understand usage or measure advertising — those only get set if you choose to accept them.
Required for the site to function — you cannot opt out of these.
myguri_token
Keeps you signed in between visits.
myguri_cookie_consent
Remembers your cookie preferences so we don’t ask again every visit.
Help us understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. Only set if you accept this category.
(none currently active)
MyGuri does not yet run a dedicated analytics/telemetry cookie — this category exists for consent-preference purposes and future use.
Used to measure and improve the performance of our ads. Only loaded if you accept this category.
(none currently active)
MyGuri does not yet run a dedicated ad-tracking cookie — this category exists for consent-preference purposes and future use.
myguri_consent_marketing
Records that you granted marketing consent, so a future marketing cookie knows it’s allowed to load.
You chose your Analytics and Marketing preferences the first time you visited MyGuri, via the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time — clear your browser's site data for myguri.app to be asked again, or use your browser's own cookie controls to block or delete individual cookies.
Rejecting Marketing cookies means no ad-tracking cookie will load in your browser — MyGuri will still work exactly the same for you; we simply won't be able to measure ad performance from your visit.
For MyGuri's team
This page describes MyGuri's actual current cookie usage as implemented. It is not a substitute for legal review — before relying on this as your published Cookie Policy, have legal/compliance confirm it meets the requirements of every jurisdiction MyGuri serves (e.g. GDPR/ePrivacy for EU visitors), and update the categories above whenever a new tracking technology is added to the site.
